More Than A Woman - Anntarah

With great pride we pay tribute to all those people who are behind the label, we feel a strong commitment to investing in Women, because investing in ONE means investing in a whole family.

We live in a society where roles are segmented... that is why the challenges are getting bigger every day, an enterprising woman has to fight against the lack of gender equity, vulnerability and job instability, low wages, the socio-cultural environment and stereotypes, created by societies that do not recognize the equality of women's rights and their valuable contribution to large economies, stereotypes that hinder women's ability to reach their potential, since it limits their abilities and opportunities.

We need to be empowered, economically independent women who are willing to exercise leadership.

In Anntarah, we work in the training of hundreds of women, empowering them and transforming them into the main support of their families; becoming our suppliers and main allies, fighting, perseverant women; that portray in each garment the story behind the label.

TECHNICAL TRAINING:

At the Art Atlas Foundation, we are concerned about the poverty and violence that Peruvian women have to face every day, as agents of change and socio-economic development, we believe that the key to change is education and training.
Following this, women and young people will not only be trained with new skills, but they will also increase their self-esteem, promoting opportunities to grow and taking new projects to generate a better way of life.

CHILDCARE:

The child care program was created with the objective of supporting workers in caring for their children, especially for those who can not work without this support. By doing this, we are creating economic independence for women and limiting vulnerability to domestic violence.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:

The schools of the Foundation are poor, often these communities are disengaged. These areas suffer from domestic violence and lack of female independence and empowerment. The Foundation works on targeted campaigns and promotes work skills and teaches leadership to women in these areas.
The Foundation is also engaged in programs aimed at providing children with adequate clothing and supplements for freezing temperatures. This program includes school supplies and Christmas gifts.

SOCIAL HELP:

The foundation's programs provide shelter, clothing, medicine, and transportation for children in remote communities who are battling cancer. Transportation can be critical for needed medical care.
